MIFARE is a family of contactless smart card products developed by NXP Semiconductors.
MIFARE cards are available in various types and storage capacities, including MIFARE Classic 1K and MIFARE Classic 4K.
The MIFARE Classic 1K card has a memory capacity of 1 kilobyte (1024 bytes), while the MIFARE Classic 4K card has a memory capacity of 4 kilobytes (4096 bytes).

There are other types of MIFARE cards with different storage capacities and features. Here are a few examples:
- MIFARE Ultralight: This type of MIFARE card has a memory capacity of 512 bits (64 bytes) and is typically used for low-cost, high-volume applications such as ticketing and transportation.
- MIFARE Plus: This is a more secure version of the MIFARE Classic card, with features such as AES encryption and mutual authentication. It is available in 2K and 4K memory capacities.
- MIFARE DESFire: This is a high-security MIFARE card that supports advanced encryption algorithms and multiple application identifiers (AIDs). It is available in various memory capacities, ranging from 2KB to 8KB.
- MIFARE SAM (Secure Access Module): This is a separate security module that can be used with MIFARE cards to enhance their security features. It provides secure key storage and cryptographic functions for MIFARE-based systems.
