Shenzhen ASCENDIoT has closely followed the evolution of RFID technology as it expands across industries worldwide. While RFID labels (commonly made on paper or PET substrates) have enabled mass adoption in retail, logistics, and supply chains, they also come with inherent limitations like: not waterproof, not resistant to high temperatures, can not work on metal, limited durability, unreliable in outdoor or industrial settings, unsuitable for long-term or repeated use, weak mechanical strength. These weaknesses mean that conventional RFID labels cannot meet the demands of all industries.

To extend RFID applications into more complex environments, it became essential to develop tags using alternative materials-enabling RFID technology to function reliably in demanding conditions.
